OUR SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

By emphasizing philanthropy and always working for a better industry, The Dutra Museum Foundation is passionately committed to its community, including its annual funding of higher education scholarships for Rio Vista High School and the Portuguese Historical and Cultural Society.  The Dutra family and the Dutra Museum Foundation have been supporting the scholarship program since 1996 and have awarded more than 100 scholarships during that time. Our scholarships are meant to provide hope and opportunity to those who may not otherwise have the chance to better themselves through the college experience. Every dollar raised goes directly to the students, we do not deduct for administrative costs at all.

MORE ABOUT OUR SCHOLARSHIPS

The Dutra Museum Foundation is passionately committed to its community, including funding four annual education scholarships for high school seniors through Rio Vista High School and the Portuguese Historical and Cultural Society. These scholarships, the Edward Dutra scholarship and the Deolinda Dutra scholarship, are awarded to students who are high achievers and in financial need.  Many of these students are the first in their family to attend college.  You can learn more about Edward and Deolinda below.
